SPOR Has Acquired Squaredot - Covered by Interior Designer Magazine

SPOR Group | Updated 2026

A big thank you to Interior Designer Magazine for its coverage of our acquisition of Squaredot this week. As an AV company based in Maidenhead, it means a great deal to have a title that lives and breathes design take the time to explain why we think this deal matters, and to everyone who has sent good wishes since, thank you too.
The Track Record
Squaredot is rightly described as award winning. Over more than twenty five years the team has completed upwards of 983 projects and picked up 25 British Council for Offices award wins and finalist placements, including a BCO National Award in 2017 for its fit out of workplace for Birmingham City Council, alongside further regional BCO recognition for corporate workplace and refurbishment work. That is not a track record we take lightly, and it is a large part of why this partnership makes sense.
Continuity First

Squaredot keeps its base in Stratford-upon-Avon, and Kris Krokosz stays on as managing director alongside David Kramer as business consultant, so the people and specialist knowledge that existing clients already trust are not going anywhere. Our co-founder Chris Gore is taking on a new role as group strategic director, working across both businesses to find where design and technology expertise can support each other. The acquisition also means the Squaredot team can make use of our Maidenhead office as things grow, without any pressure to move.
More Than One Milestone
This news lands in a good week for us more generally. Chris, who spent time as a military leader before co-founding SPOR Group, has just been named a finalist for AV Professional of the Year at the AV Awards 2026, with SPOR Group itself shortlisted for Integrator of the Year. None of that happens without a team that takes a long term view of workplace technology, and that same long term thinking is exactly what drew us to Squaredot.
What Comes Next
We already support more than 1,500 meeting rooms across the UK and Europe, for organisations including the NFL and the NHS, and clients spanning insurance and recruitment. Bringing Squaredot's design expertise into that mix means we can start addressing the operational challenges that get in the way of workplace technology, the room as well as the rack, from the very first conversation with a client rather than after the fact.
Curious About Your Own Project?
If you have a workplace project on the horizon, our AV Pricing Estimator gives you a realistic number in around sixty seconds, no forms and no sales calls.
