The Headline

AV Magazine covered our acquisition of Squaredot this week, and framed it well: the deal strengthens what we can offer as an AV company based in Maidenhead, expands our reach across Europe, and gives Squaredot the resources to support its next phase of development. We could not have summarised our own reasoning better.

By the Numbers

Some of the detail is worth repeating for anyone who missed it. Squaredot has completed almost 1,000 projects since it was formed more than twenty five years ago, working with organisations including CBRE, SCC, Bristol & Bath Science Park, CareCo, Kimberly-Clark in Madrid, Manchester Airports Group and Savills in Birmingham. On our side, SPOR Group already supports more than 1,500 meeting rooms across the UK and Europe, for clients including the NHS. Put the two client lists side by side and the scale of what we can now offer together becomes a lot clearer.

Leadership, Old and New

Kris Krokosz stays on as Squaredot's managing director, with David Kramer continuing as business consultant, and both of them working out of Squaredot's existing base in Stratford-upon-Avon. Keeping that continuity in place mattered to us. Chris Gore, our co-founder, is moving into a new role as group strategic director, focused on developing the combined business and finding the opportunities that come from having design and workplace technology expertise under the same roof.

What's Next

None of this changes overnight, and we would rather show what the combined business can do than promise it in advance. What we can say is that Squaredot's customers keep the people and specialist knowledge they already trust, and our customers get access to design expertise we did not have in-house before this week. That is a solid place to be building from.
