Business Sale wrote up our acquisition of Squaredot this week, and we wanted to say a proper thank you for it. As an AV company based in Maidenhead, we do not often see our name next to a deal write-up like that one, so it was a nice surprise, and we are grateful to everyone who has been in touch since it went live.
Squaredot in Numbers
Squaredot was founded in 2000, and in the years since has completed more than 983 projects for organisations including Manchester Airports Group, CBRE IM in London, Bristol & Bath Science Park and Savills in Birmingham. That is a quarter of a century of workplace design work behind the business we have just brought into SPOR Group, and it is exactly the kind of track record we wanted to be associated with.
Same Faces, New Chapter
Kris Krokosz stays on as managing director, working alongside David Kramer as business consultant, and Squaredot keeps its existing base in Stratford-upon-Avon. Staff also now have the option to use our Maidenhead office where it helps. On our side, co-founder Chris Gore is moving into a new role as group strategic director, supporting the combined business as it grows and looking for the opportunities that come from having design and technology expertise in one place.

Kris described the deal as bringing together complementary expertise, experience and relationships, creating a strong platform for growth, and made the point that existing clients keep the same knowledge and specialist experience they already rely on, with more resources behind it. Chris called it a natural fit for both businesses, and was clear that our focus has always been on helping organisations get more from their workplace technology rather than simply installing equipment. Keeping Kris and David in place, he said, was a key part of making sure that continuity holds.
Where SPOR Group Fits In
SPOR Group already supports more than 1,500 meeting rooms across the UK and Europe, working with clients such as the NHS and the NFL across industries including recruitment and insurance. Bringing Squaredot's design expertise into that picture means we can now think about the room and the technology inside it as one project, rather than two separate ones that happen to end up in the same building.
