A Familiar Name
Thank you to Simon Quicke and Microscope for covering our acquisition of Squaredot this week, and for making the point we would have made ourselves: Squaredot is a familiar name across the channel, with customers spread across both the public and private sectors, SCC among them. That reputation is exactly what drew us to the business.
A Wider Pitch
Kris Krokosz put it well when he said the deal gives Squaredot the chance to put a wider pitch in front of both existing and fresh prospects. Kris added that bringing together complementary expertise, experience and relationships creates a strong platform for continued growth, and that existing clients keep the knowledge and specialist experience already at the heart of the business, alongside new resources and opportunities on top of it.
One Extended Service
As an AV company based in Maidenhead, we have spent years helping organisations get more from their workplace technology rather than simply installing equipment. Our co-founder Chris Gore said this acquisition puts us in a position to offer an extended service to customers keen to refresh and redesign their working environments, combining SPOR Group's strengths with Squaredot's to broaden the expertise and support we provide.
Nothing Changes for Existing Customers
Squaredot keeps operating from its existing base in Stratford-upon-Avon, and Kris Krokosz remains managing director, working alongside David Kramer as business consultant. Existing customers will not see any change in service or support. Chris was clear that keeping Kris and David in place is a key part of that continuity, while the wider SPOR Group resources give the Squaredot team new opportunities to develop and expand what they offer.
