SPOR Group Acquires Squaredot to Expand Workplace Technology Offering

SPOR Group | 15th September 2026

Most workplace projects don't fail in the design. They don't fail in the install either.
They fail in the handover. The point where a beautifully designed room gets passed to a separate AV company and the two plans hope they line up.
We've just closed that gap.
SPOR Group has acquired Squaredot, an award-winning UK-based interior design consultancy specialising in strategic, evidence-led workplace design. The acquisition strengthens SPOR Group's capabilities and expands the breadth of services we can offer to organisations across the UK and Europe.
Two Halves of the Same Job
We've always focused on one side of the workplace: the AV and technology that has to work the moment someone walks into a room. For more than 25 years, Squaredot has perfected the other side, building spaces people actually enjoy working in, with more than 980 completed projects and 25 British Council for Offices (BCO) Awards and finalist placements to show for it.
Two halves of the same job. Run by two separate businesses. Until now.
SPOR was built on one idea: installing AV is easy. Keeping it working reliably, at scale, is where most companies fall short, especially on the smaller and mid-sized projects that get overlooked. That's why we built SPORTrack, our proprietary remote monitoring platform.
Bringing Squaredot into the family means every project, no matter the size, now gets that same standard of care, design and technology, start to finish.
No More Bolted-On Tech
A great looking room gets designed. Then the technology gets bolted in afterwards and it never quite fits. That gap is exactly where projects usually go wrong.
From here, our clients get one team thinking about the space and the systems inside it from day one. Space planning, interior design and technology strategy get worked out together, rather than handed between companies and hoping nothing gets lost along the way.
Nothing Changes for Squaredot's Clients
Squaredot will continue to operate from its existing studio in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, with the same team clients already know:
Kris Krokosz remains Managing Director
David Kramer continues as Business Consultant
The acquisition also creates the opportunity for Squaredot to make use of SPOR Group's Maidenhead office as the combined business continues to grow.
In Their Own Words
Want to hear it in their own words? Watch Chris Gore and Kris Krokosz talk through the acquisition in the video below.
Chris Gore, Co-Founder and Group Strategic Director at SPOR Group, said:
"We are delighted to welcome Squaredot into SPOR Group. The acquisition is a natural fit for both businesses, bringing together complementary capabilities, talented people and strong customer relationships. Our focus has always been on helping organisations get more from their workplace technology, not simply installing equipment. By combining the strengths of SPOR Group and Squaredot, we can broaden the expertise and support we provide to customers while creating an even stronger platform for future growth."
Kris Krokosz, Managing Director of Squaredot, added:
"The acquisition brings together complementary expertise, experience and relationships, creating a strong platform for continued growth and development. Existing clients will continue to benefit from the knowledge and specialist experience that have been at the heart of the business, alongside the additional resources and opportunities that the acquisition provides."
Part of a Bigger Picture
This acquisition marks the latest stage in SPOR Group's continued growth. Co-founded by former military leader Chris Gore, SPOR Group supports more than 1,500 meeting rooms across the UK, Europe, and Asia, helping organisations improve the performance, reliability and user experience of their workplace technology. Our clients include the NFL and NHS, spanning industries from insurance to recruitment.
The deal also follows a period of growing recognition for SPOR Group, and the company and Chris Gore have both been named finalists at the AV Awards 2026, with SPOR Group shortlisted for Integrator of the Year and Gore named a finalist for AV Professional of the Year.
For SPOR Group, this is another significant milestone in our ambition to build a broader workplace technology offering and set a higher standard for reliability, performance and user experience across modern workplaces.
Got a workplace project on the horizon? This is the point where planning it properly stops being complicated.
